維甘假日酒店 (Vigan Plaza Hotel)

WiFi is very slow and the breakfast is underwhelming. Early check in was a plus and the location in very prime from Calle Crisologo. Soundproofing was terrible. I think preserving the old hotel and the architecture were good gestures but these sacrificed the comfort of the guests staying.

Place was classic and it bringas you back to old Filipino times. I really love the fact that the hotel is very Filipino, it is located where Calle Crisologo is. They have well preserved the hotel. Service is also nice. The room is clean but take note since it is a classic hotel the floor is made of wood and there is a loud sound everytime your will walk in the floor. I didn’t upload the hotel inside but I did upload photos pf what you will see as soon as you step out of the hotel. They have kalesa/carriage at the front of the hotel. And you will see everything you wanted to see in the area by checking-in in this hotel.

The hotel is part of this historical place. It’s part of history and the management did great in maintaining it. However, with the hotel built with wood, the creaking of the floor every step you make can get either annoying or creepy. Lol.

Very nice and Impressive hotel, strategic location with good car parking space. Center of everything such as food, tourist spot, watson, photo taking, food, souvenir and many more. Staff is friendly and caring, smile all the time and very accomodating. Smoker like me is happy as there is smoking area very near to the room (request room 206 then you would understand what I mean for smoker). The Vegan Plaza Hotel is situated in the best location - at the beginning of Calle Chrisilogo street. It is convenient and easy to get around to any place from here. The kalesa (horse and carriage) and the tricycles are located right in front of the hotel. The fountain is a 7 min walk from here and an 8 min ride to the bus station. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Anything that you requested was seen to immediately and with a smile. Breakfast was ok, there should be more variety. They provide in room massage which was great. They have 2 restaurants which provides a a variety of local dishes. Bathroom is little small in size, however, the shower was awesome. This is a very good hotel and I would certainly stay here again when I come to Vigan. Wonderful stay.
